Oh The Horror! The Seattle 48 Hour Horror Film Project is an annual competition where filmmakers have just one weekend to write, shoot, and edit a short horror film. The event highlights Washington’s vibrant film community now in its 20th year. Teams draw a random genre and must include a specific character, prop, and line. Completed films screen at SIFF Cinema Uptown, with top entries advancing to Filmapalooza 2026 in Lisbon—and potentially, the Cannes Film Festival!
