Seattle International Film Festival Selection, presented by Women in Film Seattle
In 2016 a group of Washington State families with transgender kids joined the fight against the wave of discriminatory anti-transgender legislation sweeping through the nation and into their home state. With the help of a coalition of lawmakers and civil rights activists, these families embark on an uncharted journey, fighting to protect and preserve their children’s inalienable human rights in this present-day civil rights movement. Writer, producer, director Vlada Knowlton's premieres her Women in Film Grant winning documentary at SIFF 2018.
