PSA Program

Women in Film Seattle is proud to make a difference in our community. One of the ways we do so is to use our craft to motivate people to action through moving and inspiring public service announcements for charitable organizations. In the past we’ve done great work for some incredible causes, including our most recent: a Telly award-winning PSA for the Moyer Foundation and Camp Erin bereavement camp for children.

WIF Seattle plans a series of spots highlighting the excellence of women leaders in the Northwest film and video community. Volunteering to work on a WIF Seattle produced PSA is a great way for members to showcase their skills and creativity, gain production experience, and share their talents with a deserving organization. It’s also a great opportunity for non-profits to have a quality video to represent their organization.

Filmmaking volunteers, if you would like to work on the WIF team to produce a PSA and, Non-profit organizations, if you would like to submit your organization for consideration, please contact virginia@laughingdogpictures.com for more information.
